It's the silly season, 12s. Between the end of mandatory minicamp in June and training camp in late July, the Seattle Seahawks won't do anything. If there is breaking news, that likely is not good.

Mike Macdonald and the new coaching staff should have a good idea of who they want to start and who they want to keep as backups, but the ultimate responsibility of who stays and who goes belongs to general manager John Schneider. In previous years, Pete Carroll had the final say over the on-field product of the team, plus he oversaw the final roster.

This means 12s could see a different approach to roster construction this season. Potentially, the Seahawks keep a few more players in the trenches since that was a focus of the 2024 NFL draft for Seattle. The Seahawks could also keep three quarterbacks, or potentially an extra receiver if that player can help in the return game.

Seattle could still sign an inexpensive free agent, but the roster is likely set. Following mandatory minicamp, these are our best guesses of who will make the active 53-man roster in 2024.
