The Seattle Seahawks play on their second straight Thursday when they travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys in Week 13. Dallas has not yet lost at home in 2023 and has won each home game by at least 20 points. Meanwhile, Seattle has lost two straight, including getting blown out by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12.

Some positives, though. With one more sack, rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon will be tied with Lawyer Milloy and Terry Jackson for the second-most sacks by a defensive back in Seattle history. Safety Jamal Adams is first with 9.5 sacks in 2020. Also, Seattle is 10-4 in Thursday games since head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider came to Seattle in 2010.

Does Seattle need a miracle to beat the Cowboys? No. Dallas has not beaten a winning team this year and anything can happen in the NFL on any given Sunday (or Thursday). But Seattle is definitely going to have its best to compete.

How to watch and listen to the Seahawks and Cowboys on Thursday

Thursday will mark both the Cowboys and Seahawks' second straight week playing on Thursday. Both played on Thanksgiving as well, though Dallas blew out the Washington Commanders and Seattle got blown out by the San Francisco 49ers. This Thursday's game will be held on Amazon Prime Video.

The broadcast team will be led by Al Michaels doing play-by-play while Kirk Herbstreit will do color commentary. Kaylee Hartung will be the sidelines reporter. The great thing for 12s is that Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch are also part of Amazon's broadcast team. Sherman is part of the broadcast's pregame, halftime, and postgame commentary.

If you want to listen to the game, you can on Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3. Seattle's radio team features Steve Raible doing play-by-play, Dave Wyman adding color commentary, and Jen Mueller reporting from the sidelines. The game will also be broadcast on Westwood One and SiriusXM 81 and 226. The Westwood One team is Kevin Kugler on play-by-play and Tony Boselli doing the commentary.

Who's leading the all-time series between the Seahawks and Cowboys?

Seattle barely trails in the all-time head-to-head 9-10 while the two teams have met twice in the postseason and split those games. Seattle has not played Dallas since 2020 when Seattle won 38-31. Since Pete Carroll became Seattle's coach in 2010, the Seahawks are 5-3 against the Cowboys.

The most recent time the teams met in the playoffs was in 2019 when Dallas won 24-22. Between 2005 and 2019, the teams met 11 times and Seattle never scored 27 points in those games. Let's hope Seattle scores 85 on Thursday and wins easily (note the word hope there).
