The inactives list is out for the Seattle Seahawks first game of the NFL season. Let's take a look at who is not playing in Week 1.

Heading into Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, 12s already knew a couple of players would not be able to play. One is edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu (knee) who will be key to how successful Seattle's defense is this season. The other is tight end Pharaoh Brown. Brown is dealing with a foot injury.

Seattle could miss Nwosu's presence against the run as they did last year, but second-year linebacker Derick Hall has had a fantastic training camp and preseason so hopefully he is about to make a leap in production from his rookie season. Seattle also added Trevis Gipson recently in a trade and he is a much-needed veteran presence.

Brown won't be missed as a pass-catcher, but he has been an excellent blocker in his career. With him out, Brady Russell will likely see more reps as well as rookie AJ Barner. Russell is more of a receiver than Barner so Barner might be in on more obvious run-downs. Noah Fant should see the most work of any tight end, though.

Tyler Lockett was listed on the injury report with a thigh issue, but he was expected to play in the days leading up to the game.
