Seattle Seahawks fans knew one injured player who will not be on the inactive list for Week 3 when Seattle takes on the Miami Dolphins. That player is George Fant who had practiced in a limited fashion during the days ahead of the game, but on Saturday, the right tackle was placed on injured reserve. Fant will miss the next four games.

In Fant's place will be third-string right tackle Stone Forsythe. That is because the presumptive starter at at the position is Abraham Lucas but Lucas is still trying to work his way back from offseason knee surgery. There is no way of knowing when he might return.

Seattle also knew they were likely to be without running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker injured his oblique in Week 1 and missed Week 2. In his absence, Zach Charbonnet played nearly all of the running back reps and was not overly effective. He had less than 70 total yards and nearly half of those came in the final two meaningful drives the Seahawks had.

Seattle also knew they were going to be without edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu because he was ruled out on the final injury report for the game. Nwosu has yet to play this season but there appears to be some hope he can come back by Week 4 when Seattle plays a tough Lions team in Detroit.
