Seahawks inactives list for Week 5 game against Giants
By Lee Vowell
Week 5 could certainly be a trap game for the Seattle Seahawks. The team started 3-0 and led the NFC West by two games. That lead is down to one after Seattle suffered a tough loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 4. In Week 6, Seattle plays the San Francisco 49ers. Week 4's opponent, the New York Giants, could easily be overlooked.
Seattle will be healthier than they were in Week 4, though, when the team was missing as many as six defensive starters. What 12s saw of the Seahawks' defense was a shell of itself. Seattle should be able to control the Giants offense, even if that means Seattle wins a low-scoring close game.
The Giants have a high-quality defensive line. They are not as good in the secondary. If Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has time to throw, Seattle should score enough points to win. Let's just hope there are no injuries during the game for Seattle.

According to FanDuel, the Seahawks are 7-point favorites on Sunday. This is likely because New York won't have Nabers, plus Seattle has a home-field advantage. The Seahawks' defense also seems a bit healthier. Still, NFL games are played on a real field with real players, so the odds mean nothing (unless you place a bet).
