The 2023 NFL rookie draft is only two days away, and the anticipation from everyone is ramping up. We fully expect a lot of activities from all the teams leading into the draft trying to bolster their respective line up. The Seattle Seahawks are one of the teams trying to improve from their magnificent 2022 campaign that led them to a surprising playoff appearance.

Seattle was gifted with two 1st rounders and two 2nd round picks. This was thanks in part to last year's trade of quarterback Russell Wilson. This should guarantee Seattle to make a lot of noise two days from now when the draft begins.

There are still pieces the Seahawks need to ensure they continue what they already started last season. There are a lot of possibilities and scenarios the Seahawks can do in this year's draft, especially with quarterback Geno Smith already signed long-term to be at center. The Seahawks might not worry about using an early pick on a quarterback, opening plenty of possibilities for them on what they will do with the early four picks they have.

One scenario the Seahawks can do in this draft will be trying to take a running back to play alongside their up-and-coming running back of their own, Kenneth Walker III. There is no denying the talent Ken Walker has. He played wonderfully after Rashaad Penny went down with a season-ending injury early on last season.

With Penny gone through free agency, the Seahawks will have to try to at least replace him through the draft. We all know that using high draft capital on a running back will not be ideal for Seattle when they already have a good one in their backyard, however, we also so how badly they needed a good depth at the position when Walker went down with his own injury last year. Here is a look at some of the running backs the Seahawks can take in this year's draft.
