Seahawks schedule release date rumors, leaks, opponents and more

The Seattle Seahawks' 2024 schedule should be released soon. While the team already knew its opponents, 12s did not know exactly when Seattle would be playing those teams. A smart guess would be that Seattle will know who it is playing when this week.
Seattle will play six teams that made the playoffs last year. The team will also, as always, play their NFC West rivals twice each. Plus, based on the NFL's rotation of different divisions playing each other every four years, Seattle knew they would be facing the teams from the NFC North and AFC East in 2024.
Seattle also will be playing a third-place schedule since they finished in third place in the NFC West in 2023. This means they knew they were going to face the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, and New York Giants. The Denver game will be less fun this coming season than it was in 2022 because Russell Wilson is no longer with the team.
When is the Seahawks schedule going to be released?
The answer to the question above is "Who knows?". The reason is that the NFL has not told fans yet when the league will release the schedule. We can be pretty sure the release will take place on a Thursday. Judging from recent years, we can also be pretty sure that the release will take place on Thursday, May 16.
There is no firm date yet, however the NFL has traditionally let known the date of the schedule release about three days ahead. This means that on Monday, 12s might find out exactly when the Seahawks will play their previously known opponents for 2024.

Seattle does not yet have any schedule leaks, unlike other teams such as the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. We know, for instance, that the Packers and Eagles will play each other in Brazil on September 6.

What teams do the Seahawks play at home in 2024?
This is a good year for 12s because the Seahawks will host nine home games. They should all be at Lumen Field unless the NFL has a surprise in store for Seattle fans and one of the games is in a different country (Seattle played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Germany in 2022, for example).
