The Seattle Seahawks play the New England Patriots in Week 2 in Foxborough, MA at Gillette Stadium. The weather is expected to be quite nice - temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70s for the high and there is no chance of rain. In other words, the conditions should not affect the outcome of the game.

This also means, of course, that quarterback Geno Smith should have no issues targeting his receivers. The question is whether any of those receivers will be able to get open more than they did in Week 1. Everyone except for Tyler Lockett, of course. He was fantastic in the season opener.

But let's assume you are going to watch the game. You might want to know who the announcers are. Possibly even who the head referee is. Well, here are the answers to those questions.

Seahawks vs. Patriots announcers for Week 2

The Seahawks versus the Patriots will be played on FOX. If you live in the Seattle area, that means you can tune in on FOX 13. If you are a 12 that lives in the Boston area, you can watch on Boston 25.

FOX will be sending a good broadcast crew to the game as play-by-play will be done by Kenny Albert, color commentary by Jonathan Vilma, and sidelines reporting by Megan Olivi.

The game can mostly only be seen regionally, according to 506 Sports, in the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast. If you want to watch the game anywhere outside those areas, you will probably need to subscribe to the overpriced NFL Sunday Ticket. Or go to a restaurant or bar that is showing the game.

Seahawks vs. Patriots head referee for Week 2

The officiating will not be an issue during the game. The officiating crew will be led by Carl Cheffers, according to Football Zebras. He has worked in the NFL since 2000 and has been a referee since 2008. He has officiated numerous playoff games and is generally seen as one of the better referees in the game.

In the last four Seahawks games Cheffers has overseen, Seattle is 2-2. Maybe Cheffers isn't a good-luck charm but he isn't a negative one either.
