Seahawks inactives list for Week 6 game against the 49ers
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will battle for the NFC West lead in Week 6 when the teams meet on Thursday Night Football. Should Seattle win, they would have a two-game lead on San Francisco and at least a game lead over the Arizona Cardinals. The issue for Seattle is that the defense will be missing some key players once again this week.
Edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu has been ruled out and will also be placed on injured reserve. He will miss at least the next four games. Due to an injury in Week 7 of 2023, Nwosu has missed every game in nearly a calendar year except the partial one he played in Week 5. He injured his thigh in that game.
Seattle's biggest potential loss might be cornerback Riq Woolen. He has been playing in his 2022 form this season and has been quite good. Woolen will miss the 49ers game with an ankle injury. Hopefully, the issue is not a long-term one because Seattle's defense has already struggled enough, and losing Woolen would be crippling.
