Not even the most pessimistic fan ever thought the Seattle Seahawks would be 3-3 after six weeks. The Super Bowl hangover is real, and to add insult to injury, they're about to host the former Super Bowl MVP in a Sunday night matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kenneth Walker III will have plenty of reasons to want to put on a show on his former home turf, and this is a game the Seahawks simply can't afford to lose. Even if the NFC West hasn't been as good as advertised, they just can't lose three in a row.

Obviously, taking down the undefeated Chiefs will be way easier said than done. As such, Mike Macdonald may have to dig deep into his bag and give some unusual suspects an expanded role to pull this one off.

3 Seattle Seahawks players who may surprise 12s against the Chiefs

Cooper Kupp

At this point, watching any Seahawks pass catcher not named Jaxon Smith-Njigba make an impact would be a surprise. Cooper Kupp isn't the playmaker he used to be years ago, but he can still be trusted in big moments.

Moreover, the former Triple Crown winner has reportedly been heavily involved in talks about fixing the offense, so maybe it all starts with getting him more involved. The Chiefs have two strong outside corners, but L'Jarius Sneed has struggled in the slot, and Kupp can give him trouble between the numbers.

Ty Okada

Kenneth Walker III has gone nuclear this season. He's single-handedly carrying the Chiefs' offense with his explosive runs, and he'll definitely have additional motivation to get back at the team that let him walk in free agency.

The Seahawks will need all hands on deck to stop their former playmaker. Walker is elite at finding gaps in the defense to advance to the second level, and the Seahawks will have to use Ty Okada near the box early and often in this one. He and Nick Emmanwori will be crucial to support the linebackers against the most elusive back in football.

Trevon Diggs

Trevon Diggs has barely played since joining the team, which probably is for the best. That said, with Josh Jobe not stepping up as often as he did last season and Diggs getting more time to get a grasp of the playbook, he might finally get more opportunities in Week 7.

This is a must-win game for the Seahawks, and that might force the team to do some crazy things. Diggs has always been a liability in coverage because of his tendency to overcommit and gamble, but that also made him the league's deadliest ballhawk in his heyday. Maybe he can turn back the clock and create a turnover in this one.
