We are inching closer to the Seattle Seahawks' new season. It will feel like a summer away because, well...it is. Maybe these months will fly by, but if you are a football fan, you know these can be the longest months.
At least, we now know when Seattle is taking on all the teams we already knew the Seahawks were playing. There was no drama there. The 2025 opponents were known as soon as the 2024 regular season ended.
Seattle will play a second-place schedule and the regular four-year rotation of other divisions. Like every NFC West team, Seattle will play the teams from the AFC South and the NFC South. Of course, the Seahawks will also play each of the NFC West teams twice.

The other second-place teams are not going to be easy, however. Sure, every team goes through some attrition, but for the most part, the teams that were good last year will be good this year, too. That includes the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Commanders, and Minnesota Vikings. Two of those games will be on the road.
The trick for Seattle will come at the end of the season. The Seahawks will play five of their final eight games on the road, including the final two, with the last coming against the rival 49ers. Seattle's playoff hopes might come down to the last game of the year, just as they did last season, which means beating the always tough 49ers. Let's hope for the best.
