The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers better not play a game where something dramatic happens near the end of the game. People have to sleep and the matchup is NBC's Sunday Night Football game of the week. If 12s do have to lose sleep over this game, let's hope people go to bed with happy feelings instead of sadness.
Both teams are battling for playoff spots. Each team needs a win to help make the rest of their seasons slightly easier. With a victory, Seattle holds on to its first-place standing in the NFC West. A loss by the Packers drops them to the same 9-5 record as Seattle so the Seahawks improve their chances to make the postseason even as a Wild Card team.
Heading into the game, neither team is dealing with multiple injury issues. Each is missing key players, though. Green Bay knew it would not have two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander. He is dealing with a knee injury and he has not played in a month. The Packers are getting used to being without him.

Seattle had a good idea it would be without running back Kenneth Walker III for the second straight week. The team was just fine without RB1 in Week 14 as backup Zach Charbonnet ran for 134 yards against the Arizona Cardinals. That was definitely Charbonnet's best game in the NFL so expecting a repeat performance might be expecting too much.
Seattle Seahawks inactive players for Week 15
- Running back Kenneth Walker III

- Tight end Brady Russell
- Edge rusger Trevis Gipson
- Wide receiver Cody White
- Quarterback Jaren Hall
- Cornerback Artie Burns
Green Bay Packers inactive players for Week 15

According to FanDuel, Green Bay is going to win the game. This is a bit insulting, too. Seattle hosts the game and is just one loss worse than the Packers. Still, FanDuel has the Packers favored by 2.5 points. Home teams traditionally get three points, so the Packers seemingly should win by at least five.
The over/under is 46.5 so a slightly higher-than-expected scoring game might be possible. If that holds true, let's hope that quarterback Geno Smith is doing special things.
