The Seattle Seahawks are as healthy as they have been for most of the season. The team did lose center Connor Williams this week as he decided to retire, but Seattle will get wide receiver DK Metcalf and right tackle Abraham Lucas back for Week 11 versus the San Francisco 49ers. Seattle might still lose, but at least pre-game injuries won't be the reason.

What Seattle needs is to score points. This means giving quarterback Geno Smith more time, and Lucas should help with that. While Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a fantastic game in Week 9, Metcalf is Seattle's best receiver and his return will require San Francisco to scheme for him. That could mean more room for JSN and more holes for the Seahawks' running game.

Metcalf does need to play better than he has in recent meetings against Seattle's NFC West rivals. In the last three matchups between the teams, Metcalf has only caught eight of his 24 targets for a bit over 100 yards and one touchdown. Metcalf needs to be an alpha on Sunday for Seattle to have any chance at getting its season back after finishing the first half on a slide of losing five of six games.

Seahawks and 49ers inactives for Week 11 game

Seattle Seahawks inactive players for Week 11

  • Tight end Noah Fant
  • Tight end Brady Russell
  • Cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett
  • Edge rusher Trevis Gipson
  • Guard Sataoa Laumea
  • Wide receiver Dareke Young
  • Defensive lineman Myles Adams

San Francisco inactive players for Week 11

  • Tight end George Kittle
  • Cornerback Charvarius Ward
  • Defensive tackle Kevin Givens
  • Quarterback Joshua Dobbs
  • Wide receiver Ronnie Bell
  • Offensive lineman Ben Bartch
  • Defensive lineman Khalil Davis

According to FanDuel, the 49ers are favored by nearly a touchdown at 6.5 points. This makes sense as Seattle has not beaten San Francisco since December 2021, and the 49ers are playing at home. San Francisco has the better overall roster currently, too. One might wonder why FanDuel did not put the line at 10-plus points. Only once since that December 2021 game has Seattle come within 12 points of the 49ers.
