The Seattle Seahawks haven't lost a game in almost a year. Granted, there was a long layoff between seasons, but they've gone 12-0 since their last defeat, and most of those wins haven't been particularly close.
Not even losing Sam Darnold five plays into the season opener was enough to stop this team's momentum. If anything, it may have made the group even tighter, and they're riding a twelve-game winning streak in their title-defending season.
That's why, upon taking a look around the league and comparing them to other undefeated teams, there's no doubt that, with all due respect to all other 31 fan bases, the Seahawks are still clearly the team to beat in pro football.

Props to Coach Kubiak! The former Seahawks offensive coordinator is spearheading a new era of Las Vegas Raiders football, and the honeymoon phase is going better than expected. That said, this is the Raiders, and with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, how sustainable is this? They're a fluke until proven otherwise.
7. Philadelphia Eagles
No matter how many games the Philadelphia Eagles win, it will always feel like they just cannot be trusted. Is it Jalen Hurts? Is it Nick Sirianni? Is it both? Whatever the case, they barely escaped Tennessee with a win, so let's not get too carried away with that record.
6. Minnesota Vikings
Kevin O'Connell and Brian Flores deserve all the credit in the world for having this team sitting at 2-0 with Carson Wentz at the helm. The only reason they're not ranked higher, with such an elite defense and an impressive set of weapons, is that their quarterback situation is a ticking time bomb waiting to hold them back.
5. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals' revamped defense is getting into a groove, and that should be a scary thought for the rest of the league. Joe Burrow will always do Joe Burrow things, and if they can finally get offenses off the field for a change, Zac Taylor's team may finally live up to the hype.
4. San Francisco 49ers
It's been two weeks, but the San Francisco 49ers are already in midseason form, both in terms of performance and injuries. Once again, Kyle Shanahan's team looks like a hospital, and while they still have enough talent and are well-coached, it's hard to trust them to get the monkey off their backs when they're this banged up.
3. Kansas City Chiefs
Don't look now, but it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs are back. Andy Reid's team has been dominant through two weeks, with Patrick Mahomes leading an explosive offense in Eric Bieniemy's return. Their defensive rookies are making an impact, and they may still have the best quarterback in the game.
2. Buffalo Bills
Talking about great quarterbacks, that guy Josh Allen is pretty good, huh? As it turns out, his former offensive coordinator knows just how to bring out the best in his game -- who'd know? The Buffalo Bills are elite on both sides of the field, and while history isn't in their favor, they might be the best team in the AFC by a margin.
1. Seattle Seahawks
The defending Super Bowl champions are still the team to beat. They continue to prove that they're a finely tuned machine in every facet of the game, with someone else stepping up regardless of who's in or who's out.
Losing Darnold to an injury was a big blow, but Drew Lock is proving to be one of the best backups in the game. The running game remains dominant after Kenneth Walker's departure, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba might be the best offensive player in the game right now.
Add a deep and well-coached defense to the mix, and that's a recipe for success. Mike Macdonald's team was criminally underrated and overlooked for most of the offseason, but the champions are here to let everyone know why they're still the best team in football.
