The 2025 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 24, so tell your friends and family that you will be out of pocket for about three days. Oh, who are we kidding, Seattle Seahawks fans? We know your friends and family are going to be right around you, watching every detail of the draft.
One question you might have is how long you have to wait on Thursday until you have to tune in to see the Seahawks make their first choice. At the time of this writing, Seattle chooses at number 18 in the first round. On Thursday, there is only one round.
On Friday, you will need to start watching earlier. The draft will begin at 4 pm PT, but will only show the second and third rounds. There is less time between each pick so that the rounds will go faster. But we aren't there yet.
What time will the Seahawks be on the clock in the 2025 NFL Draft?
The draft will start on Thursday, April 24, at 5 p.m. PT. Every team has 10 minutes to make a selection with their first pick. Teams don't have to use the allotted 10 minutes, but potential trades should not delay the draft, as the clock will not reset for the team acquiring the pick.
In 2024, Seattle selected Byron Murphy II at pick number 16 at 7:04 p.m. PT. This means 12s should start tuning in around 6:45 p.m. PT to ensure they are early enough to watch the number 18 selection live (the pick will probably take place somewhere around 7:20 p.m.). Just ensure that the Seahawks have not traded up in the draft.
How to watch the 2025 NFL Draft
ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network will televise all seven rounds live. Seahawks fans can also stream the draft on NFL+ with a subscription and the ABC and ESPN apps. Day 2 (rounds two and three) of the draft starts on Friday at 3 p.m. PT, with the final round (rounds four through seven) beginning at 9 a.m. PT on Saturday.
Every Seahawks pick in the 2025 NFL Draft

- Round 2 - number 52 overall
- Round 3 - number 82 overall

The above could change, of course. Heck, maybe it is even likely that general manager John Schneider will work a couple of trades and rearrange where the Seahawks select. Be prepared for the unpreparable.
