When the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers play each other on Thursday Night Football, the game will be a battle for first place in the NFC West. Seattle currently has a one-game lead, but with a victory, the 49ers would overtake Seattle. Sure, there is a lot of season left to play, but a loss would be the Seahawks' third straight.
Seattle needs to fix a few things before the game. One is the run defense. Seattle has allowed 175 yards rushing or more in two games so far. The 49ers could certainly take advantage of any weakness in that area.
Seattle also needs to find a balance between throwing and passing. One issue in Week 5 against the New York Giants was that Seattle threw the ball 40 times and only called seven running plays for the running backs. That is atrocious. Perhaps, however, you want to know what each team will be wearing.
What jerseys are the Seahawks wearing versus the 49ers in Week 6?
Great news, 12s! The Seahawks will be wearing their 1990s throwback uniforms once again - for the fourth time in two seasons - on Thursday Night Football. The uniforms consist of a silver helmet, royal blue jersey, and silver pants. Seattle is 2-1 in games while wearing the unis, including in Week 1 of this season when Seattle defeated the Denver Broncos.
The 49ers will also be wearing throwback uniforms, but they are pretty boring. They are all-white with some red stripes on the sleeves and red numbers. The helmets are the same gold ones as normal.
