The Seattle Seahawks need a victory in Week 15 to stay atop the NFC West standings. A loss to the Green Bay Packers will drop Seattle to second place as the Rams currently hold the head-to-head tie-break. That could change in Week 18 when the teams meet in the last game of the season.

The Packers need a victory as well, though. They are 9-4, but they are in third place in the NFC North. With a loss, Green Bay would drop to the same record as Seattle would have meaning that the Packers would likely need to win out to make sure they aren't in a battle for the final Wild Card spot. In other words, neither team should be less motivated to win on Sunday.

Seattle and Green Bay also have a recent history of playing each other in drama-filled games. Just in the past 12 seasons, 12s have had the Fail Mary game in 2012, and the NFC Championship miracle in 2014. Let's hope for a Seahawks victory, but one that does not potentially cause heart problems either.

Seahawks vs. Packers announcers for Week 15

The Seahawks versus Packers will be NBC's Sunday Night Football game this week. This means no other games will be occurring at the same time and everyone in the nation can see it. This is also probably why Seattle has chosen to wear its Action Green uniforms for the game. If you like lime green jerseys, this is the game for you. The channel to tune into in Seattle is KING 5.

The announcing team is fantastic. Mike Tirico will do the play-by-play, Chris Collinsworth will do the analysis, and Melissa Stark will report from the sidelines. If you don't want to listen to them, you could always turn the sound down on your TV and listen to Steve Raible, Dave Wyman, and Jen Mueller on the Seahawks radio broadcast. Those people are great, too.

Seahawks vs. Packers officiating crew for Week 15

The officiating crew for Sunday's game is going to be elite. The head official will be Clete Blakeman, who has been in the NFL since 2008. He called Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

The rest of his crew consists of Scott Campbell, Dana McKenzie, Julian Mapp, Karina Tovar, James Coleman, Jonah Monroe, Chad Adams, and Amber Cornell. Tovar and Cornell are in the first seasons in the league.
