Michael Robinson Re-Signs With Seahawks

It’s not quite official yet, but Michael Robinson announced via his twitter account this afternoon that he will be  re-signing with the Seahawks. This is very welcome news, and Robinson has slowly developed into one of the top FB in the NFL over the past couple seasons.

This move wont draw out the hyperbole that other signings will, but it might end up being the most important re-signing the Seahawks make this offseason. Robinson was crucial in getting the running game going last season behind a sketchy offensive line. Even though the line did improve, Robinson was a good deal of the reason the running game didn’t falter when the line lost 3 starters around mid-season.

Robinson was selected for the pro-bowl in 2011. It was his first trip to game.
