Seahawks Inactives: The Seattle Seahawks will be without Kam Chancellor this week as they take on a fully-healthy Atlanta Falcons team.

The bye week helped the Seahawks heal up get passed numbers nagging injuries that had plagued them in the early portions of this season. Unfortunately, two key players ended up gimpy this week from injuries suffered in practice.

The big thing for the Seahawks is are the guys who aren’t listed. Russell Wilson has had 2 weeks to heal up. Tyler Lockett’s knee is mostly better. Nick Vannett is finally back on the field after a preseason ankle injury.

Thomas Rawls and Quinton Jefferson are both out. Neither is expected back for a least 2 more weeks. Garrison Smith would normally be the fill-in for Jefferson, but he’s out as well. Luckily, the Seahawks get Jarran Reed back this week to help out the rotation at DT.

Obviously, the big news here is the loss of Kam Chancellor. He suffered a groin injury this week, and was listed as questionable. Without him, Kelcie McCray gets the start.

Defensive End Frank Clark is also out. He didn’t practice all week with a hamstring injury and was listed as questionable. The Seahawks will miss him and his pass rushing skills in this game.

Falcons Inactives

Atlanta enters this game fully healthy. There was some concern that star WR Julio Jones might be limited with a knee injury, but he was a full-go in practice on Friday. The Falcons will have all of their offensive weapons against a short-handed Seattle defense.
