Stock Up – DeShawn Shead & Dion Bailey

The Seattle Seahawks finally found a way to replace Kam Chancellor this week. Dion Bailey and DeShawn Shead were used in specific situations against the high flying Packers this week, and both players made a positive impact.

Pete Carroll suggested in his Monday press conference that platooning Bailey and Shead is likely the best way to go until Chancellor returns. Bailey is a thumper, and is an asset in the box. Shead is a former cornerback, and excels in shadowing tight ends and receivers. Bailey’s shortcoming is coverage and Shead’s is playing the run, together they form a decent strong safety.
