November Recap

Defense finally shows up — Seahawks defeat 49ers in the opening game in the month of November.

The Seattle Seahawks opened up the month of November with their second divisional game of the year. After losing to the Cardinals in poor fashion, Seattle bounced back at home in a dominant way. The defense showed signs of life as they were able to force multiple turnovers, setting up the offense in good field possession. Wilson’s MVP campaign grew more traction as he balled out in an important win.

East coast struggles — Bills embarrass Seahawks defense, putting up 44 points in the victory

The Seahawks east coast streak was snapped as they performed poorly in Buffalo. The Bills came out aggressive and made things look easy as they continually moved the ball up and down the field. Wilson played his first bad game of the season as he had 4 turnovers (2 INTs, 2 Fumbles). The only bright side to this performance was that the defense racked up 8 sacks.

Back-To-Back poor performances — Seahawks fall short in a huge defeat to the Rams as they lose first-place lead in the West.

After an appalling performance in Buffalo, the Seahawks backed it up with another sloppy game on the road in Los Angeles. Russell Wilson played one of the worst games in his career throwing 0 touchdowns with multiple interceptions. This Rams defense appeared to be too much for the number 1 scoring offense in the league. But, the defense once again showed signs of life.

All about the bounce back — Seahawks get revenge on the Cardinals, picking up a huge win on Thursday Night Football.

The first time these two teams met, the Seahawks let this one slip away. In Week 11, the Seahawks proved they were the better team by once again controlling this game for 60 minutes. As this team got healthier, they avoided the silly turnovers and got some help from the defense. Jamal Adams and Carlos Dunlap had an immediate impact in this one and helped the Seahawks edge closer to the divisional lead.

Back in first place — Seahawks regain first place in the West with another dominant win over the Eagles on MNF.

On the road in Philadelphia for a primetime matchup, this defense once again shined bright. They were able to apply pressure on Wentz all night, racking up 6 sacks and forcing 1 interception. Russell Wilson once again played a clean game with 0 turnovers and throwing for one 1 touchdown. D.K. Metcalf was just too much for this Eagles defense to handle. Chris Carson put his footprint on this game with a hard-earned touchdown run in this one. Seattle gets the win and moves back to first in the West.
