Way too early prediction of 2022 Seattle Seahawks record
Seahawks vs. AFC West
Kansas City Chiefs – Loss.
Let’s get this one out of the way. The 2022 Seahawks record is not going to be aided by a trip to Arrowhead to play against one of the most dynamic offenses in football. The Chiefs did lose Tyreek Hill, but Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are the reason the Chiefs’ offense is so powerful. Provided that this game is in Kansas City, I don’t think the Seahawks stand much of a chance. But I’ll be ecstatic if they pull it off!
Los Angeles Chargers – Loss.
The Seahawks drafted some great pieces to add to the defense. Players like Boye Mafe and Tariq Woolen are going to take time to develop, though. The Chargers, like the Chiefs, have an excellent dynamic offense. They also added Khalil Mack to their defense. Seahawks struggle to defend Charger playmakers and drop this game.
Las Vegas Raiders – Loss.
Playing the likely 4th-place Raiders in Seattle is the biggest advantage the Seahawks could hope for. The AFC West is stacked, and this might be the only game against the division the Seahawks have a hope of winning. The Raiders have some real offensive weapons, but something tells me the Seahawks find a way of adding a win here.
Denver Broncos – Loss.
I saved the best for last. Russell Wilson returns to Seattle to face Pete Carroll and the Seahawks. While it may be the most entertaining game to watch and should definitely be a primetime game, it won’t help the Seahawks record. I think the Broncos have a shot at going toe-to-toe with their AFC West rivals in the Chiefs and the Chargers in 2022.
