Seahawks offensive line

Players on the roster: Charles Cross, Stone Forsythe, Damien Lewis, Austin Blythe, Kyle Fuller, Gabe Jackson, Phil Haynes, Jake Curhan, Abraham Lucas

Strengths: The bar for offensive linemen is very low in recent years, a promising sign is this might be the most Seattle has invested in the offensive line in a long time. Rookies Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas or two of the best tackle prospects Pete Carroll and John Schnieder have ever selected for the Seahawks.

Gabe Jackson and Damien Lewis have both shown to be good reliable starters and Austin Blythe is familiar with Shane Waldron’s offensive game plan.

Weaknesses: Right tackle Abraham Lucas and left tackle Charles Cross are promising but they are still unproven against NFL pass rushers. Both Lucas and Cross have also shown proficiency in pass blocking but both also leave a lot to be desired in the run game.

Austin Blythe has shown to be a career backup caliber center for most teams he’s played for, yet the Seahawks will be relying on him a lot to relay adjustments and know cadences for the snap. This could prove to be a major setback for the rest of Seattle’s promising offensive line.
