They should be fine.

Barring a surprise, the Seattle Seahawks shouldn't find much trouble taking down the Washington Commanders in Week 3. Despite being on the road, they're the better team in every facet of the game, and — more importantly — they're healthier.

Dan Quinn's team will start Marcus Mariota, as Jayden Daniels is dealing with an elbow injury. The Seahawks, on the other hand, might get Sam Darnold back on the field after he suffered a glute injury in Week 1.

The Seahawks have been near-perfect through two weeks, considering the context. Even so, Mike Macdonald and his coaching staff still have some stuff to figure out ahead of their third test of the season.

4 questions the Seattle Seahawks have to answer in Week 3

How much should Sam Darnold play?

Even if Sam Darnold plays, the Seahawks should be careful with him. There's no need to risk an aggravated injury in Week 3, especially with Drew Lock doing such a great job of holding down the fort in his absence.

Maybe the Seahawks should let Darnold play, but not put that much on his plate; just let him shake off the rust and pull him in the second half. Of course, that will depend on the score, but there's no need to rush him back.

Will they load-manage Jadarian Price?

Similarly, rookie running back Jadarian Price suffered a chest injury in Week 2. He should be a full go despite being limited in practice, and there probably wouldn't be any doubts adoubtis status if this inff game.

Nevertheless, this is a Week 3 road game against a lesser team that struggles against the run. So, the Seahawks may want to err on the side of caution with their prized first-round pick and roll with a committee of backups.

Is the RG position up for grabs?

For years, Anthony Bradford has been singled out as the offensive line's Achilles heel. The team drafted Iowa's Beau Stephens as a potential replacement, but he clearly wasn't ready for that type of responsibility.

Now, with Bradford on Injured Reserve, that door is wide open. Chris Haynes should be the first guy in the pecking order, but maybe Coach Macdonald will also give the rookie a chance to shine. Will this be an audition for a permanent role? Will the two candidates make the most of it?

Is Nick Emmanwori actually back?

Nick Emmanwori missed the season opener and barely played in the win over the Arizona Cardinals. Given that the Commanders won't even have Jayden Daniels out there, is it even worth putting him in harm's way?

Emmanwori would've probably played more had the game been closer, but giving him single-digit snaps also signals that they wanted to slowly ramp him up. He might not like it, but they should take the same approach in Week 3.
