Seahawks inactives list for Week 2 game against Patriots
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks have been the more injured team entering both of their first two games of the 2024 regular season. Last week, the team knew they would be without edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu and tight end Pharaoh Brown, and both those players will also miss Week 2 against the New England Patriots.
As neither was placed on injured reserve before Week 1 then that would seem to indicate that the team believes both players could return before Week 4. That is when Seattle's schedule begins to get a lot tougher as Seattle has to travel to Detroit to take on the Lions.
Week 3 might be difficult as well when the Seahawks play the Miami Dolphins, but Miami is dealing with an injury problem too. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered the third concussion of his career in Week 2 on Thursday Night Football and he likely will not play against Seattle. That is a break for Seattle, but no one wants a player to get injured.

The Seahawks are 3.5-point favorites in Week 2, according to FanDuel. What does that mean? In reality, absolutely nothing. Still, at least Seattle has been made the favorites in its first two games of the season. Maybe national pundits and betting sites are beginning to re-think how good the 2024 Seattle Seahawks can be.
