The Seattle Seahawks are 5-2 and in first place in the NFC West. The Baltimore Ravens are 6-2 and in first place in the AFC North. Both teams feature good quarterbacks and good defenses and both teams can run the ball effectively. In other words, this should be a fun game.

The biggest questions for Seattle entering the game are whether Geno Smith can limit his turnovers and whether Seattle's defense can limit Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's run ability. If both of those happen, the Seahawks should win. Oh, and also, Seattle is 16-3 in its last 19 10 am PT kickoff games.

Seattle and Baltimore have met six times since 1997 and each team has won three times. Baltimore is second in points allowed (121) and points allowed per game (15.1). Seattle is eighth in points allowed (138). Again, this should be fun. My guess (and hope) is that Seattle's defense continues it's great play in the second halves of games and Seattle wins another close game at the end.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Baltimore Ravens Week 9: All you need to know

When and where

Week 9 will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, the former home of Edgar Allan Poe, John Waters, and Babe Ruth. The Ravens call their stadium M and T Bank Stadium. Kickoff will be at 10 am PT (or 1 pm ET for those 12s going to the game and remember to change your clocks back this weekend).

Weather

Sunday should be a beautiful day. The high is expected to be 68 degrees and it will be partly cloudy. The wind should mostly be between 5 and 10 MPH. In other words, the weather should not be a concern on Sunday.

Injuries

The Seahawks currently appear pretty healthy for Week 9. Rookie right guard Anthony Bradford missed practice on Thursday so that could be a concern. Right guard Phil Haynes was a full participant, though, and could start ahead of Bradford anyway. Left guard Damien Lewis appears to have missed practice with an illness.

All other Seahawks listed on the injury report this week should be able to play. In fact, except for any injured reserve players, such as right tackle Abraham Lucas and edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu, every Seahawk could be available ahead of Sunday's game.

Baltimore is also in good shape, it appears. They likely will not be without any key players.

TV, radio, and streaming

The game will be the featured game across most of the United States. CBS will broadcast the game. Play-by-play will be done by Jim Nantz with Tony Romo doing the color commentary. Tracy Wolfson will be the sideline reporter.

If you only want to - or can - listen to the game, you can tune in at Seattle Sports 710 AM or KIRO Newsradio 97.3 in the Seattle area. Nationally, you can catch the game on Sirius XM 158 or 385 or Sports USA. If you subscribe to NFL+, you can listen to the game there as well.
