Seattle Seahawks 2024 schedule tracker: Leaks, dates, full list of games

What we know about who Seattle will be playing.

The Seattle Seahawks will learn their 2024 schedule on Wednesday. Ahead of the official release of the schedule at 5 pm PT, there will likely be several leaks about when Seattle might play. Some other teams already knew a bit of their schedule as early as late last week. Football fans, for instance, knew that the Kansas City Chiefs would open the season on Thursday, September 5, but we did not know their opponent until this week (the Baltimore Ravens).

12s already knew Seattle's opponents for 2024, too. The team always plays each NFC West team twice and, due to the NFL's rotating schedule with divisions, this was going to be the year that Seattle played the AFC East and NFC North. Since the Seahawks finished third in the NFC West in 2023, Seattle was going to play a third-place schedule.

There have been a number of predictions that have Seattle winning anywhere from 7 to 9 games in 2024. Because Seattle is seemingly stuck in mediocrity, that probably means they were not going to play a lot of prime-time games or national TV games in 2024.

Seattle Seahawks 2024 schedule tracker

Last year, when they were expected to win around the same number of games, Seattle originally was going to play three prime-time games (one against the Philadelphia Eagles was added during the season).

The hope is that Seattle will have at least the same number of prime-time games in 2024. We learned that the Chiefs and Ravens would kick off the season, the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers would play in Brazil on the Friday of opening weekend, the Cleveland Browns would host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, and the New York Jets would travel to play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.

Who are the Seahawks playing in 2024?

Seattle is set to play nine home games and they are as follows:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Miami Dolphins
  • New York Giants
  • Denver Broncos

Seattle will play eight away games and those are against the following:

  • Cardinals
  • Rams
  • 49ers
  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • New England Patriots
  • New York Jets
  • Atlanta Falcons

What are the potential Seahawks' schedule leaks?

According to radio host Dave "Softy" Mahler, but not yet confirmed, Seattle will be traveling to the New England Patriots in Week 2 and will travel to the Chicago Bears for a Thursday Night Football game in Week 17. That might be horrible timing as the weather in Chicago can be brutal in December.

There are also some vicious rumors floating around that the Seahawks will open against the Denver Broncos at Lumen Field, play the Lions in Detroit on Monday Night Football in Week 4, host the New York Giants in Week 5, play the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, and play at the New York Jets in Week 13. But this has not yet been confirmed.

The full schedule release can be seen on the NFL Network. This page will be updated with any news, including the full schedule once it is released.
