Brian Quick

A lot was expected of Quick after he was the 1st player taken in the second round by the St. Louis Rams in 2012 draft. He was a big-time player from a small school (Appalachian State) and was oozing with upside. Big, fast, athletic…. Rams GM Les Snead said he thought he was getting the next Vincent Jackson when he made the pick. What he got was significantly less than that. Quick topped out at 25 catches in 2014 and has scored only 7 career TD’s. Now he’s an unrestricted free agent and would presumably come cheap.

Is he worth a look? The fact that most of the highlights you can find on YouTube are still from his App State days doesn’t speak volumes about his pro production.

Still, at just 26 years of age, a player with the overall talent of Quick may just have enough upside to make sense for the Seahawks.
