Center

Starter: Justin Britt

Backup: Patrick Lewis

If you’re confused by the order here, don’t feel bad. I’m going out on a limb a bit in projecting that Justin Britt will beat out Patrick Lewis for the starting job.

Lewis has played well in each of the two seasons. Inserting him into the lineup in place of Drew Nowak led to a substantial upgrade in 2105.

Unfortunately, offensive line coach Tom Cable has been known to play favorites. Justin Britt is clearly one of his favorites.

Britt was a mediocre (at best) right tackle in 2014. The Seahawks moved him inside to left guard for 2015, and he was atrocious. Now he’s being moved to center and Cable claims it is an effort to get the “best five guys on the field.”
