Strength of Seahawks roster #1 (Strongest): Quarterback/Specialists

Yeah, I know. I combined two completely different groupings here. However, both are deserving of this top spot.

Russell Wilson has never missed a game in the NFL. Hell, he has never missed an NFL snap. He is the current ironman of the NFL. When you put his durability into a microscope despite being one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league, my confidence couldn’t be higher.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have one of, if not the best specialist groups in the NFL. Both Michael Dickson and Jason Myers are Pro-Bowlers. Dickson is a sniper with his punts. He constantly pins the opposing team deep inside their own territory where they are unable to even attempt a return.

Jason Myers did not miss a single field goal last year. That is 24 kicks made out of 24 kicks attempted. He has been a breath of fresh air after years of uneasiness when the kickers lined up.

The specialists and Russell Wilson all are primed for huge seasons this year. The Seahawks have two completely unique types of weapons. Wilson making unthinkable plays down the sidelines. The special teams making the franchise-best 60-yard field goals and pinning opposing offenses inside the 5-yard line.

Both groups are deserving the number one spot.
