3 quarterbacks who could eventually replace Seattle Seahawks Geno Smith
Seahawks could replace Geno Smith with Joe Milton
Perhaps the option with potentially the most upside would be the University of Tennessee's current QB, Joe Milton. Milton is one of college football's most exciting players heading into the season and with good reason. He legitimately might have the strongest arm we've ever seen out of college.
He makes throws 60-70 yards down the field look effortless. But the thing that made Milton stand out the most as a prospect was his pocket presence.
This comes as a surprise because most of the "toolsy" QBs to come out of the draft usually tend to have a below-average pocket presence. This actually turns out to be one of their weakest traits. This isn't the case in Milton's game, though.
It'll be interesting to see how well he plays in this upcoming season at Tennessee. If he stays on the path he's been on, however, he could be a top-10 pick come April. In that case, the Seahawks would likely have to pay the price to jump up and select him. In addition, with weapons like DK Metcalf, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett, drafting Milton could make Seattle one of the most explosive offenses in the league for years once he is ready to start.
